Policing country of 1.1 bn is not easy: Chidambaram

Home Minister P Chidambaram, while addressing the 40th All India Police Science Congress in Raipur, opined that policing a country of 1.1 billion people is not easy and above all, policing in a troubled neighbourhood is indeed a difficult task. The Home Minister stated that the distribution of the police force among the police station is badly skewed and that there are not enough police stations in the country.
