Politicos slam Virbhadra's behaviour, Cong apologises

Updated on Oct 24, 2012 03:23 pm IST

Congress leader and former chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, Virbhadra Singh's erratic behavior today drew huge criticism from political leaders. Virbhadra Singh threatened the media and said that he will break their cameras, while rubbishing all the graft allegations levelled against him. Commenting over Singh's statement, Samajwadi Party (SP) secretary, Kamal Farooqi termed the incident unfortunate and said that it does not suit the person to behave in such a manner as he is being projected as the future chief minister of the state during the upcoming elections. Echoing similar views, BJP national vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that such misbehaviour with the media is an indication of his rising frustration after his wrong doings were exposed.
