Railway officials delayed reaching accident site: Assam locals

Locals in Ghagrapara of Assam, where the Guwahati-Puri express derailed yesterday following a powerful explosion blew major chunks of the railway tracks, on Monday said that officials delayed rescue and medical aid to passengers. Four coaches of the train derailed on Sunday evening near Ghagrapara in Rangia district 65 kilometres from Guwahati. The train was on its way to Puri from Guwahati.
