The actor is now stable but remains under observation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Rajnikanth was shifted to the intensive care ward to improve his breathing pattern. According to media reports, the actor is responding well to the treatment. The 60-year-old south Indian actor was admitted to the hospital for respiratory infection and gastro-intestinal problems on May 13.
