Registration for Amarnath pilgrimage opens in Kashmir

Registration for the annual Amarnath cave shrine in Kashmir opened on Saturday. The annual 'Yatra' or pilgrimage this year will commence on July 1 and will end on August 24. The registration would be done with the Jammu and Kashmir Bank, at its 123 branches spread across India, as compared to 110 branches last year, besides online bookings. The registration form is free and registration charges are Rs 15 per person enrolling for the yatra 2010.
