In a major relief to godman Asaram Bapu, the Supreme Court today refused to direct the CBI probe against him in the 2008 death case of two boys within the premises of his ashram on the outskirts of Ahmedbad. The Gujarat CID earlier on August 30, charge-sheeted seven office-bearers of the ashram for their alleged role in the mysterious death of the two boys, following a public outcry over the issue. Abhishek Vaghela (11) and his cousin Dipesh Vaghela (10) went missing from a residential school of the Asaram Bapu's Motrea Ashram in Ahmedabad in April 2008.
