Rescue ops over, search on for dead bodies: Shinde

Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Friday praised the rescue teams for their excellent coordination in carrying out rescue and relief operations in the flood ravaged Uttarakhand. Shinde also said that all help would be provided by the Centre in bringing back normalcy to the hill state at the earliest. The Home Minister further informed that the IAF choppers will stay in the state for 15 more days to finish the rescue and relief work completely. He also saluted the 20 brave IAF, ITBP and NDRF personnel, who died in a chopper crash on Tuesday while returning from a rescue mission.
