Saddened Binayak Sen's wife to move higher court

Elina Sen, wife of Binayak Sen, the activist convicted of sedition charges under the Chhattisgarh Special Public Security Act for his alleged links with Maoist ultras in Chhattisgarh, said that she was saddened by the court verdict that came on Friday. Talking to mediapersons, Elina said that the fight for the rights of the poor would continue in India as gangsters and thieves walk freely and honest people are convicted of sedition charges. Human Right activist Dr. Binayak Sen was on Friday found guilty of sedition by Raipur Sessions Court and was sentenced to life term.
