Second phase voting starts on slow note in Uttar Pradesh

Polling for the second phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections began on a slow note on Saturday for 59 seats in 10 districts that will decide the fate of two state presidents, 31 MLAs and 24 former ministers. Voters, including women, queued up outside polling booths in Balia district of the state. Similar scenes were witnessed in Deoria and Ghazipur districts where people came to cast their votes.
