Updated on Jun 19, 2009 08:14 pm IST

Advancing security forces lobbed tear gas shells and made a baton charge to break a 'human wall' put up by Maoist cadres, at Lalgarh as the Communist State Government launched a massive operation on Thursday to free the region of left extremists.
