Siachen demilitarisation difficult until LoC is fixed: P V Naik

Chief of the Indian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal P V Naik on Thursday said that the process of demilitarisation along the Siachen glacier in restive Kashmir region would be a 'difficult' proposition until a control line is fixed and approved by the international community to prevent later intrusions. Meanwhile, stressing that India faces several security challenges, Naik maintained the Indian Air Force is fully capable of thwarting any assault on its territory.
