'Slow troop withdrawal already in progress'

Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Ghulam Nabi Azad downplayed demands for withdrawal of security forces from the disputed region on Wednesday saying the process had started two years back. Stories about a possible cut in troops circulated last month after moderate separatist leader Mirwaiz Umer Farooq said India and Pakistan had agreed to demilitarize Kashmir in areas under their control.
