Snake boat of Kerela enters Guinness book

Made of steel, a new snake boat recently entered the Guinness book of world records for carrying 141 crew members, breaking the existing record of 118 crew members on board. The 143.25 feet long, 5.74 feet wide and 8 tonnes boat is christened as 'Aries Chundan', first of its kind in Kerala. As the longest snake boat made of steel, it has already against its name a world record in the Limca Book.
