Snow clearing operations are in full swing ahead of the annual Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage, which attract hundreds of thousands of pilgrims every year. Authorities are confident that preparations will be wrapped up by the end of June, so that the area is ready to receive the first set of pilgrims on the 1st of July. 500 labourers have been hired by The Shrine Board and Pahalgam Development Authority to achieve this end.
