Veteran communist leader Jyoti Basu on Tuesday said that it would be tough for the 'Third Front' to win the national polls beginning next month and form a government. Basu said that the Communists could be part of government if the front came to power. An alliance of nine parties, the Third Front will take on the ruling national coalition led by the Congress party and the main opposition bloc led by the Bharatiya Janata Party.
