Traditional copper utensils in huge demand in J&K

Despite latest gadgets and home appliances flooding markets in Jammu & Kashmir, the charm and preference of traditional copper utensils fails to die among the locals in the valley. Shops selling kitchenware in Srinagar are full of copper ware with traditional artistry engraved on many of them. With improved lifestyles, copper utensils in typical Kashmiri kitchens have replaced earthenware.
