Two accused arrested in Manipal gang-rape case

Two of the three men accused of abducting and gang-raping a medical student in Manipal a week ago have been arrested by the Udupi police on Thursday. The police also recovered the auto-rickshaw allegedly used to abduct the MBBS student from Manipal University. The student was abducted on June 20 after she left the library late at night by the men who were reportedly in an auto-rickshaw. Udupi Superitendent of Police confirmed that the names of the two accused arrested are Yogesh and Harish and a team is sent to Goa to nab the third accused named Anand.
