UNICEF initiates child health services in Maoist hit Purulia

Children are considered as building blocks of a nation, and to make them strong and healthy, a special programme in Maoist-hit Purulia district of West Bengal has been organized by UNICEF and the state government for effective implementation of child care services and strengthening health systems. In this initiative, the state government has established a nutrition rehabilitation centre in Purulia district hospital.
