Flaying Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati's move to split Uttar Pradesh into four parts, the opposition Samajwadi Party has termed it a political gimmick. Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav slammed the move as an attempt to divert attention from various scams that have surfaced in the state recently. Yadav further said that his party does not support the division of the state, as it is not going to enhance development, which is the need of the hour.
