Villagers suffer due to poor road connectivity in Purulia

Locals in the Maoist-infested Purulia district expressed their ire as the government fails to construct a road for better connectivity. Speaking to media person a villager, Madan Paharia said that the locals face trouble during rainy season, as the road was not constructed. Due to the deplorable condition of the roads, a villager, Haradhan Paharia said that bad roads added to the plight of the patients as many people lost their lives because they did not receive medical aid on time. Despite several reminders, the administration failed to initiate effective steps to repair the damaged roads.
