WB joins Odisha in opposing NCTCWest Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee has joined Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in opposing the special powers given to National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC). She has shot a letter to the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh expressing displeasure over its formation and accused that it would hit the federal structure of the country. Union Minister of state for Tourism and Senior Trinamool Congress leader Sultan Ahmad asked Union Home Ministry to withdraw its order of forming NCTC.
