West Bengal celebrates 60th Everest Day

West Bengal marked the 60th anniversary of the Everest Day today by paying homage to its forerunners Serpa Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary. The celebration started with paying homage to the statue of Tenzing Norgay early in the morning and after that organizing a blood donation camp to promote adventure sports among the youth in the state.
