Xi gets ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhawan

Chinese President Xi Jinping was given a ceremonial reception at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi on Thursday. Jinping was received in a grand welcome ceremony followed by the Guard of Honour. He then met President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other union ministers including Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Jinping arrived in New Delhi Wednesday night after a private dinner with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Gujarat.
