Yamuna at danger level

Authorities in New Delhi were forced to stop traffic on historic rail- cum - road bridge as water in Yamuna river crossed danger level of 206 meters on Wednesday. Railway has been forced to divert around 26 trains and cancel ten other trains following the closure of the busy bridge on the River Yamuna. Dwellers in low-lying areas around the river have been evacuated from the catchment areas such as Yamuna Bazar, Usmanpur and Garhi Mandu.
