North East United FC dominated proceedings in their Indian Super League 2017-18 opener against debutants Jamshedpur FC, who were reduced to ten men late in the second half, but were held to a goalless draw after a string of saves by veteran goalkeeper Subrata Paul. Playing at home in Guwahati, NorthEast United were denied on a number of occasions by Paul, who handed Jamshedpur a crucial point from the game.
