'Intentional, planned lapse': Ex-Top Cops seek action against Punjab Govt

After breach in PM's security, 27 ex-Top Cops write to President Kovind, seek immediate action. In the letter to President, the former IPS officers termed the security lapse 'planned and intentional'. The letter flags contradictory statements by Punjab CM and 'excuses' made by the state agencies. Ex-Top Cops' letter also states that the stoppage of PM's convoy 'threatens the democracy in our country'.
