Israel's economy is in grave danger as the war in Gaza reaches its ninth month. Preliminary data from the Finance Ministry indicates that in May, Israel's fiscal deficit reached NIS 10 billion ($2.66 billion), or 7.2% of GDP. Considering that the government is still spending billions of shekels to finance the ongoing conflict with Hamas, this is the highest in the previous 12 months. Watch
