Kim planning to strike U.S ally? North Korea fires new ballistic missiles towards Japan

North Korea fired off two medium-range ballistic missiles on Sunday, just days after Japan committed to a counterstrike capability that would allow the country to strike enemy bases and command sites. The launches also come two after North claimed to have performed a key test needed to build a more powerful intercontinental ballistic missile designed to strike the U.S. mainland. The missiles launched on Sunday is said to have landed in the waters between the Korean Peninsula and Japan.
