Cong Tripura chief booked for slapping man who ‘attacked sister’s convoy’

Congress' Tripura unit chief Pradyot Deb Burman slapped a man who was accused of attacking the convoy of his sister, who is contesting the ongoing Lok Sabha elections on a Congress ticket. The accused was at a police station when Deb Burman arrived and slapped him. A case has been filed against the Congress leader. Pradyot's sister, Pragya, was returning from campaigning and her convoy was near Agartala when it was pelted with stones.
