Better performance in eastern and southern states to make up for any losses in the 'Hindi heartland' and keeping the doors of the National Democratic Alliance open for potential allies - these formed the crux of what Bharatiya Janata Party's National General Secretary, Ram Madhav, revealed about the party's re-election strategy. Madhav, in an exclusive conversation with Hindustan Times' National Political Editor, Sunetra Choudhury, said that the BJP doesn't expect any big losses but will perform better than expected in states like West Bengal and Odisha.
