Mamata meme row: BJP worker alleges delayed release, forced apology

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) youth wing worker Priyanka Sharma on Wednesday alleged that the West Bengal government delayed her release. She added that the police didn't allow her to meet her advocate, family and made her sign an apology. She further said that she will fight this case and will not apologise. Priyanka Sharma was arrested on May 10 for posting a morphed photograph of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on social media. She was granted bail by the Supreme Court on May 14.
