PM Modi launches mega Varanasi roadshow with tribute to Madan Mohan Malaviya

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched his pre-poll roadshow in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi after paying homage to Banaras Hindu University founder Madan Mohan Malaviya. PM Modi is seeking re-election from the constituency which he swept in the 2014 polls. He is expected to file his nomination for the election on Friday, April 26. Varanasi votes in the last phase of the elections, on May 19. Congress is fielding Ajay Rai, while the SP-BSP 'gathbandhan' has picked Shalini Yadav for the seat.
