Nawab Malik's arrest angers Maha Vikas Aghadi; BJP seeks minister's resignation

The BJP on Wednesday demanded the resignation of Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik following his arrest by the ED in a money laundering case linked to the activities of gangster Dawood Ibrahim and his aides. NCP's Lok Sabha member Supriya Sule said it was unfortunate that the Centre was using its machinery against the BJP's political rivals in a "suppressive" manner. The Shiv Sena and Congress, which share power with the NCP as part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra, also threw their weight behind Malik. Watch full video.
