‘Aam budget has now become Khaas budget’: Manoj Jha in Rajya Sabha

• RJD MP Manoj Jha lashed out at the Modi government during the discussion on the Union Budget 2021 in the Rajya Sabha. The RJD MP said that ‘my way or the highway’ has become the trend and nobody wants to listen to the alternate viewpoint anymore. Jha said that the Budget has now become a ‘khaas’ budget and only addresses the concerns of a few. He further said that the budget does not address the lessons learnt during the Covid pandemic. Taking a jibe at the government, Jha said that Life Insurance Corporation could not even save its own future and urged the government to acknowledge the real facts on the ground and not create data of its own.
