BBC promoting Khalistanis? UK Broadcaster's Punjabi Twitter handle barred in India

The official Twitter handle of BBC News Punjabi has been withheld in India. The crackdown comes amid a massive hunt for radical pro-Khalistan preacher Amritpal Singh. The message on its Twitter handle reads: 'Account has been withheld in India in response to a legal demand.' However, BBC News Punjabi is not alone, as the official Twitter handles of several journalists have also been withheld for allegedly promoting pro-Khalistan propaganda.
