  • Crude bombs were reportedly hurled at BJP MP Arjun Singh’s residence in West Bengal. Police have reached the spot in North 24 Parganas district and are scanning for evidence. At least three bombs were reportedly hurled amid the presence of central forces. According to reports, the parliamentarian was in Delhi at the time of the incident. Singh's family members were, however, living inside the house located in Jagatdal. So far, there has been no report of any injury in the bombing incident. Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar took to Twitter and condemned the incident. Dhankhar has been raising the post-poll violence issue since the Bengal election results were declared. Arjun Singh had switched over to BJP from the Trinamool Congress in 2019. Singh had earlier also alleged that he was attacked by TMC workers after the Bengal polls.
