Burj Khalifa lights up with Indian tricolour, Mahatma's image on Gandhi Jayanti

UAE's Burj Khalifa honoured Mahatma Gandhi on his 152nd birth anniversary. The skyscraper lit up with a colourful LED show to honour Mahatma Gandhi’s journey. ‘Be the change that you wish to see in the world’, tweeted the skyscraper’s official handle. Several events were held in India and across the world to mark the occasion. Earlier, Piyush Goyal paid tribute to Gandhi at the Consulate General of India in Dubai. Gandhi Jayanti on October 2 is marked as the International Day of Non-Violence. Watch the full video for more.
