‘Can’t stop tourists’: Himachal CM Jairam Thakur on tourist crowd amid Covid

- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur said on Monday it was not right to stop tourists in the hill state as the industry has been badly hit due to the coronavirus pandemic. He said all required steps were being taken and crowded places were being regulated to contain the spread of Covid. The central govt had recently warned against revenge travel and tourists flouting Covid norms. Pictures and videos of overcrowded tourist hubs like Shimla, Manali and Dharamsala had sparked fears of a third wave of Covid. Watch the full video for more details.
