Cong MPs meet Lok Sabha Speaker, V-P Naidu over Delhi police ‘manhandling’

• Congress versus Delhi police fight hots up. The Congress lawmakers have approached the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu seeking their intervention into what the party called the manhandling of several of its parliamentarians during the course of their protest against the summoning of senior leader and Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi in the alleged National Herald money laundering case. Party claims that many of its leaders were manhandled & they even required medical treatment after the cops action. Videos of woman MPs being dragged have also emerged.
