Delhi: Heavy rain triggers waterlogging; Yamuna water level nears danger mark

Citizens in the national capital woke up to heavy rainfall on 1 August. The downpour led to waterlogging in several stretches in the national capital. Vehicles commuting from the Yamuna Bazar area witnessed heavy waterlogging. Ashram, Anand Vihar, Sarita Vihar, and ITO remained inundated due to rainfall. IMD predicted thunderstorms with moderate to heavy rainfall in Delhi-NCR. Meanwhile, the water level in the Yamuna river inched close to the danger mark. A flood alert is in place after it crossed the danger mark earlier on Friday. Watch the full video for more.
