‘Government sent a message to China…’: Rahul Gandhi on Union Budget

- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi presented his views on the Union Budget 2021 which was presented by finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 01 at the Parliament. "I had expected from the Budget that the government will provide support to 99% of India's population. But this Budget is that of the 1% population. You snatched away money from people in the small and medium industry, workers, farmers, forces and put it in the pockets of five to ten people," he said. "India needs to put money in the hands of its people. Because if we want to restart our economy, it will only be through consumption. It is not possible from the supply side," he added. Gandhi also said that the money allocated for defence sent a message to China. Watch the full video for more.
