Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik pitched for a settlement between farmers and the Centre. Malik said that if the government agrees on minimum support price (MSP) and gives legal recognition then the farmers’ protest could come to an end. Malik said, “For farmers' issue to get over, both sides have to show nobility. If Centre agrees on MSP and gives legal recognition then agitation will end.” Earlier, at an event in UP’s Baghpat, Malik urged the Centre not to offend the farmers. He said he requested PM Modi & Home Minister Amit Shah not to use force against farmers. Malik also urged them not to send them home from Delhi empty-handed. Watch the full video for more.
