India reopens embassy in Kabul after 10 months; Taliban welcomes move

India has re-established diplomatic presence in Afghanistan and deployed a technical team. The Ministry of External Affairs deployed a technical team at Kabul embassy to mark India’s diplomatic presence. The Taliban has welcomed India's decision to return their technical team to its embassy in Kabul. The technical team has been sent to closely monitor and coordinate effective delivery of humanitarian assistance.
