India replacing China as major player in Russian oil market | Why Moscow prefers Delhi

According to a report on Bloomberg, Russia will keep selling as much oil to India as it can even as China's oil demand surges. Commodity-data firm Kpler cited by Bloomberg said that India has become a crucial market after the US and European Union imposed sanctions on Moscow. While China could 'buy literally the entire Russian oil exports', Russia will want to keep the Indian market because it is more 'lucrative' and gives crude sellers 'greater control.'
