India-U.S boost naval ties; Indian shipyards to maintain, repair U.S Navy ships

• In a major boost to defence cooperation, U.S and India are exploring the possibilities of Indian shipyards to not only maintain but to also repair American Navy ships. The move also aimed to bring more business to the Indian shipyards, will further boost defence trade between New Delhi and Washington.
