Thousands gathered in Rajasthan’s Ajmer in support of suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. A peace march was taken out in her support while Hanuman Chalisa were recited in some places. Protestors chanted ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ slogans during the peace march. They also condemned the objectionable remarks made on Hindu Gods and Goddesses. The peace march that started from Martindal Bridge passed through different parts of the city. The march reached the District Collectorate office where a memorandum was submitted to the Collector.
