Sri Lanka has dismissed as joke the claims that LTTE Chief Prabhakaran was alive. Pazha Nedumaran, a noted nationalist leader in Tamil Nadu, said on February 13 that the leader of the LTTE 'is doing well and a conducive atmosphere prevails for him to appear now.' "It is confirmed that he was killed on 19 May 2009. The DNA has proved it," said Colonel Nalin Herath, Sri Lanka's defence ministry spokesperson. Watch this video for more information.
