Kargil Vijay Diwas: PM Modi, Indian Army & others pay tribute to martyrs

- India celebrated 22nd Kargil Vijay Diwas, the anniversary of the Indian army’s victory against Pakistan in 1999 in Kargil. On the occasion, tributes poured in from all across the country as Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted to pay homage and President Ram Nath Kovind visited Baramulla in Jammu & Kashmir to pay his respects to the fallen heroes. Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat paid floral tributes at the Kargil memorial in Dras and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh laid a wreath at the National War Memorial in New Delhi. The Parliament too began with tributes to the martyrs and respects to their families. Watch the full video for more details.
