‘Koi Maharaja...’: Himanta Sarma gets off car to clear traffic; scolds officer

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma found himself struggling to maintain his cool when a long traffic was seen in Nagaon during his visit. In the viral video, Himanta Biswa Sarma can be seen reprimanding Nagaon DC Nisarg Hivare. The District Commissioner allegedly halted traffic on NH 127 for the chief minister's convoy to pass. In the video, Sarma is heard saying, “DC sir, what's this drama? Why have you stopped the vehicles? Is any king coming? Don't do this in future!” While some appreciated Sarma's action, many criticised him for misbehaving with an IAS officer.
