Navy’s Russia-made jet MiG 29k crashes during sortie in Goa; Pilot ejects safely

- Indian Navy's Russia-made MiG-29K aircraft crashed after developing a technical malfunction. The incident took place off the Goa coast while the fighter jet was returning to base after a routine sortie. The pilot ejected safely from the aircraft and was later found following a search and rescue operation. A board of inquiry (BoI) has been ordered to investigate the cause of the incident.
